    Hey all,
Finally got my laptop, as appove, great spec and great price. But...one prob...

When I'm watching youtube while plugged in - no problem....however, if I am plugged out of the mains (i.e. running on battery) it doesn't work.

My picure freezes and sems to skip - video and sound. If I want to watch it properly I need to replug to the mains.

Any idea what this might be? Could anyone help me?

    Sur

It could be the CPU being limited once being back on battery power, hence the slow processing of the video. Try changing your power settings for when your on battery in the cotrol panel of windows. Set it from Max Battery or whatever it maybe to Desktop/Home or Always On to see if theres a dfifference. Try a different web browser too while on battery to see if theres not another reason that maybe IE7/IE related in general.

What operating system do you use? If on Vista:
Click the battery icon at the bottom and click "More Power Options"
Go to the setting you are currently on and click "Change Power Settings", then click "Change Advanced Power Settings"
Find the Processor Power Management tab, then look under Maximum Processor State, then go to both the plugged in and battery option and set both to 100%.

    This might help you out.
