    Hi, just wanted to give this post a bump as I'm looking at bikes in this price range myself.

    Any opinions on these?

    they are very comparable with the specs, I'm leaning towards the giant as it has more parts I know. Good thing is to test drive both.

    Just bought the talon 2 today,i havent even used it yet but i will let you know how i get on!

    The bike is a grand ride!
    Now in comparison to my previous bike its a tank a little heavy but very very solid+it looks nice.
    The bike i had before was a claud butler levante.
