Hi guys i suffered a break to my fibula in 2 places doesn't need surgery, i also suffered a dislocated foot and also an ankle injury and an ankle fracture. I had surgery 7 days ago to my ankle called subluxation surgery as i snapped a ligiment, was just wondering has anyone had it done before, also how long till you started getting back to your old self and what your recovery period was, i've asked the doc's and have been told 3 months to a year which is pretty vague, just wondering what your experence's have been.

Mods if in wrong section please feel free to move cheers.

    Wow is right.

It may also depend on your physio so I suppsoe they cant really come up with an accurate time frame untill you physio kicks in!

You wouldn't believe how simple it was to happen, basically i slipped playing indoor footie my right leg went from underneath me, and tried to catch my balance on my left leg with the result of all my bodyweight coming down on my left leg, it just crumbled underneath me. So simple, yet so serious.
