Right, I've rarely created a thread for a specific iMPACT! but this week I'll make an exception. iMPACT! (on Bravo from 9 tonight) features the heavily hyped Riot and is really worth watching. You're not going to get long wrestling (25 minutes on this weeks show) but what wrestling is on the show is quite good for what it is plus there is a really good Knockouts match in this weeks show. I request that anybody who has the time and has given up on TNA or has never watched TNA give this show a chance and if you hate it you can blame me.

Y'know, I don't regulary watch TNA. In fact, over the last three years, I've seen maybe two or three PPV's and an episode of iMPACT! here and there. But after hearing all the fuss about this show, I had to download it. And I've got to say, it lived up to the hype. For all the TNA haters who used to like it, but switched off when it went to sh*t, give this show a watch. I guess the recent shake up in TNA is starting to take effect. Let's see what next week produces, eh?

Look at that, a wrestling show has made me intrigued as to what'll happen on the next episode. Last time that happened to me was eight years ago.

    Sorry I hated the riot,

One scene had a guy half dead, it cuts back to the impact zone or outside, when it returns to where the guy should be out cold you see him laying another fella out with a chair.

If anything it highlighted the fact TNA have a Roster that is far too big.

Yea i really enjoyed it , The only thing is TNA need to drop the IWGP titles . Really impressed with Sarita.

Why didnt Styles, Hernandez, Homicide and Morgan get involved in the riot?

The funny thing is that New Japan said this week that Team 3D are still the champions and that they're not recognising TNA's title change

Thats good. I think the British Invasion have cheapened the titles somewhat.

    Womens match was excellent.

    Riot was fun

Eric Young has been doing well.

TNA is looking a little crowded, tho.

Thats the kinda stuff they need to be doing to create a buz around their product. Bit stupid having the police arrive I thought though. Hate when that happens in wrestling.

Just watched. It was a bit of fun. Sets the storyline up very well for the Hard Justice PPV and beyond. Interested to see how Bobby Lashley plays out in the whole thing.

By the looks of it Joe is first for Lashley (which is a match I'd like to see) but I doubt he'll be involved at Hard Justice.

While it does raise questions in the future as to why the won't police arrive, I think it added to the realism of the brawl as if you, I and 20 other people started a giant brawl in Universal I'd say the police will arrive rather quickly.

1st year Anniversary maybe? It was centred arpound the Homicide/Steve Corino feud, though don't quote me on that, its years since I've watched early ROH.

    ^^^

It was indeed, the 1st year anniversary show.

I agree with the comment about TNA seeming overcrowded. But in general I think this was an interesting angle.

Why did you find it interesting?

I don't get it myself, the idea of Foley and Lashley leading what used to be the originals into battle against MEM and their latest new allies leaves me uninterested.

I thought it was done pretty well, and I'm genuinely looking forward to seeing Lashley in action, but when I say interesting, I would agree with your cynicism about the booking and thought behind it. Then again, I don't think Foley should be wrestling at all, let alone "leading" the young guns.
