Would this seem gay to you ??

Hey ,
I have always been the little quiet one , like I wouldnt talk much or get into trouble much, im 15 and a guy , and Im not exactly the best looking person in the world. I want to make some changes to my self , 1st I want longer hair (Any suggestions on what style ) , I was thinking about changing the colour from black to honey brown, and getting my tounge perced , and buying a whole lot of new clothes.
Would that seem a little gay to most people ?? If yes what should I leave out??

Ever 15 year old thinks they're not good looking, relax, forget about the tongue piercing ( it is gay) and hair dye. Run, get in shape, have fun. Ignore the worlds standard, they're just trying to sell you something (piercings/hair dye).

No, not 'gay' at all, nothing wrong with wanting to update your image and try new things. as long as you feel confident and comfortable (and 'being gay' means being well dressed then wouldn't you want to be!) PS I love tongue piercings on guys

Wait until you're 18. No decent studio will do an oral piercing on a 15 year old, and if you're so worried about looking 'gay' that you're depending on other people's opinions you're probably not mature enough to take care of a piercing correctly anyway.

Trust me all you need to get the girls at 15 is longish hair and be fit. No need for dramatic piercings or hair dye. Worked for me anyway mate

Changing your image isn't gay at all, pretty much every teenager experiments with new looks before finding their own personal style.

If thats what you want. I got my tongue pierced recently and I'm only 15 it was a fairly decent studio like I have had no trouble with it. But seriously if you want to do these things go for it if it will make you happy don't mind about everyone else if you love who you are then everyone else will love you for who you are don't be pressured into changing yourself for others.

nothing wrong with piercing your tongue. I know loads of fellas who have it done and none of them are gay. Dont get pink clothes, some load of fellas wearing pink lately. Thats gay.

Forget the hair dying. Honestly. Youre 15, and was suggested already, go out and get a bit fitter, eat healthily and you'll feel much more confident in yourself and wont feel the need for so many changes (hair,clothes etc). Of course you might like to buy some new clothes to change your style but would firstly be comfortable with yourself and make the changes for yourself.

Don't pierce your tongue just to look cool. (god, I sound like my ma!) But there is a fair bit of maintenance involved and there is a risk of the ballstud damaging your teeth.

But you know, there are loads of things you could do if you fancy a change, and a new hairstyle is good start. Grow your hair, learn how to use product if necessary. Go into a hairdresser and ask for a free consultation if you're not sure what to do. Is there some actor on TV, for example, whose look you like?

Try on all sorts of clothes the next time you're shopping - you could be pleasantly surprised what looks good on you (colours, styles etc).

All you need is confidence (wow that sounds cheesey!) to stand out and if growing your hair long and getting a piercing helps you do that then go for it!! Tbh i think guys with long hair are hot anyways...;)

the piercing i wouldn't do, as gauge said most reputable places wont oral pierce a minor anyways.

I recomend stop using the word "gay" as a derogatory word, and caring about peoples perceptions of you! I have tattoo's and piercings and dye my hair every 2 months but its for me! Change you're style man, you're still a young'un you can do it as much as you like =D and theres nothin wrong with it, just when you're doing it, don't change to suit other people

I personally prefer longer hair on guys, but I think you should stick with black. Most girls would find black hair sexier than honey brown, think of the "tall dark and handsome" men that women often go for. Dyed honey brown hair would look a bit "gay" tbh. And forget the tongue piercing, they are disgusting, I would not kiss someone with a pierced tongue. As for what style of hair, how about like Prince Caspian's?
