My friend said that this bunch were good but you'll have to send the phone to the UK for it. I'm not aware of any but I'm sure there's places in Ireland to get it fixed.

If you bought if off O2 you can get it repaired off Apple with them

I think you have to replace both glass screen and touch digitizer as they are both stuck together. You can buy them yourself for like 35 euro on ebay if your the diy type :P

I'm looking to do it myself. Do you know anyone who's actually bought one off eBay? There're loads of them out there but I'd prefer to buy from one some else has used. Apparently, a lot of the ones on eBay are poor quality so I want to make sure I'm buying good enough quality.

Dropped mine last night. Screen still works but is cracked. €70 isnt too bad. I'd imagine if I go to the o2 shop they'll try and charge me something outrageous.

Was thinking of upgrading to a 3GS anyway but if Vodafone are getting it next year I might hold on and wait for the bill prices to come down.

Yeah, I'd probably pay €70 to get it fixed alright. I'm in Cork though, and the quotes I've gotten here are €120+.
