Broken Canon Ixus 70

    Ok, so here's the lowdown.
    I handed my camera (Canon Digital Ixus 70) to a friend to take a photo. The friend subsequently dropped the camera.

    I've lost the lens, shutters and front cover.

    The camera itself is in perfect working condition it just won't take photos :(.
    I know a new one would cost me around €250, which as a student I can't afford.

    Anyone know if I could get it repaired for reasonable money?

    I love my camera, please help!

    seem to sell for about 70-100 euro on ebay
