Only 4 albums got 2 votes each so there are only 4 options to chose from.
Thanks fully at least 3 of them are great albums (i don't know one)

    Enjoy.

So a Nomination now has to get a least 2 votes to be included in the Poll?

Don't know any of the above besides the Smiths but i don't like them so not voting.

    Also, shouldn't this be #86

What was that post about throwing toys out of the pram? Yeah.

I decided that i wasn't having a poll of 15 or so albums with one vote, if right was right an album would need at least a certain number of votes to get a nomination.

But yes it should be album number 86.

    Spiritualized.

That Beta Band release is not a proper album.

    Bleedin' fantastic!

It's Hatful of Hollow and The World Won't Listen that aren't proper Smiths LP.

Up is great though. Best REM album of the last six.

No wouldn't even consider UP. And Im a REM fan. Was the first time I realized REM were in trouble. Far too many fillers on that album.

It's a travesty of justice that Spiritualized aren't leading in the poll! It's an absolute masterpiece.

Anyway nominating- Strangelove: Love and other demons.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,583 ✭✭✭skeleton_boy

Vote for LotP but can't argue with the smiths taking this.

Nominate: We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed - Los Campesinos!

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭Kold

It's aged very well I'd say but that's helped by the markedly poor(er) subsequent albums. I do kinda like Reveal in Spring and there's some good songs on Around the Bum. It's probably a problem "big" famous bands get where no matter what they release it just ain't gonna be as good as their best.

Can't agree with you there champ but I take it you're plus 1 for the nod ;)
