    Hi

Anyone know where I can get one of these? I couldn't find one today in the shops (Spar/Mace etc)

They're not a specialised battery are they?

    Cheers

i received a few of these in a Boffer Bag of Crap offer a few months ago that I'm not going to ever use, you can have some free gratis if you want, PM me your address if you're interested & I'll pop a couple in the post to you :)

they are a ripp off. not any different to any other batteries except for the shape. everywhere sells them for 8-9 euro each. most pharmacies have them, got 2 in hickeys.
if u dont need them in a hurry like I did u can get them cheap on ebay.

sure they last a long time but so does a 1euro battery in a wrist watch, doesnt mean you should pay 18euro to power your watch.

its a film camera, some dont even need batteries.

Had to get a 2CR5 battery in a hurry recently and it cost €18 in Unicare. Picked up two of the in Dixons in the airport this morning for £3.20 each. Hard to justify the price some people charge.

I found a load of them and some other camera type batteries goin cheap so stocked up on them, have 14 film cameras now and most of them take expensive batteries, would be too expensive payin full(Irish) price for batteries.

they are a rip off considering they are the same as any other batteries just that they are packaged differently

I bought one in B&Q for €7.00 and then found it in a stationery catalogue in work for €0.18! If you don't have a stationery catalogue you'll get it on eBay very cheaply.
