I ordered the bodum grinder deal off Java Republic last Friday online.

The package arrived today... I opened it to find they didn't include
    a. the packaging for the grinder
    b. any of the instructions/warranty leaflets

Do this crowd think they selling second hand wares on ebay?

The deal also included two bags of beans - 1 bag had been roasted the 1st week of February. FFS.

Get back on to them, that's not good enough.

I reckon if you point it out they'll sort it out or at the very least offer a refund.

In fairness to them they responded to my mail first thing this morning. They are sending a courier out today to pick up the unpackaged grinder and replace with a new one(in the box hopefully). They also stated that the beans should have been roasted in the past week and are replacing those also. I'm very happy with how quickly their online ordering staff dealt with it this morning.

Great to see their customer service is well up to scratch. Credit where it's due.

I would imagine it was simple human error. They get all those coffee machines in for servicing etc so someone probably picked up the wrong box. It might also mean someone got a nice new one instead of their repaired one :D
