Vodafone Mobile Broadband problem

    I think I probably have this in the wrong place. :confused:


    I got Vodafone mobile broadband yesterday
    and while it works perfectly on my son's laptop
    on mine (dell inspirion) I keep getting the following message :

    Mobile connection not possible

    - Set your current mobile device as the default device in the manage devices view
    - Ensure no other programmes are using your mobile device
    - delete device in Manage devices and internet connections and then reconnect.

    Support info

    RAS error Code 692.


    I'm completely baffled. Can anyone please help? :confused::confused::confused:

    Sounds like the software for it isn't installed. Did you go through the CD? It sounds like some of the internet devices onboard are in conflict.
