My mother had a nasty fall in a large supermarket last year and has sustained damage to her left knee. After much pondering she contacted the claim's board.. to cut a long story short the supermarket was contacted and since have made contact and say that they dont want this to go to court and want to meet her next week, i will be attending with her and was just wondering how to play it with them. Any advise would be great tnx..

My advice is don't play it and have her contact a solicitor without delay so your mother is professionally represented.

They want her to settle and I can assure you her interests will not be in their agenda. I can also assure you they will have had the benefit of legal advice themselves.
