Which network hard drive?

    Hey everyone;

    I need some help picking from one of two LaCie External NAS drives.

    The first is on Memoryc.ie
    http://www.memoryc.ie/products/description/1TB_Lacie_Network_Space-by_Neil_Poulton-NAS_Gigabit_Ethernet_Connection/index.html

    and the second is on Komplett:
    http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=482385&view=detailed#ProductTabs

    I intend to create a home network for my PC, my laptop and a 2nd PC that has no internet access, and I want to be able to share the resources (Internet connection and the NAS HD) across all 3.

    What I have at the moment is this: My broadband router has one RJ45 port which is connected to my PC, and my PC has two network ports, one onboard, not yet used, and one add in PCI network card which connects to the router.
    Edited to Add: I connect to the Internet via BT ADSL.

    Like I said, I want to create a home network at some point, but obviously I'd like to use the NAS attached to my PC until then.

    It gets a little complicated because the Komplett drive has a USB connection as well as the ethernet connection and is 3 euro cheaper than Memorycs' version, but the Memoryc one looks a hell of a lot nicer but only has the RJ45 port.

    Any advice would be appreciated :pac:

    They both have usb ports (although only visible on the memoryc picture) and are completely equivalent. So whichever.
