My ipod classic is not moving an apple sign keeps appearing when i try to turn it on I have let the battery die and re charged it but the same keeps happening

Does it show up on your Computer when you plug it in?

ok have followed all these steps and the ipod has been restore to factory mode it says leave ipod pluged in but nothing happens WTF?
