ive done a BA and always got the grant. this year i want to take the year out and work and do a part time evening course( probably a VEC ). now i know i wont be entitled to any help with this, that is fine.
But, next year i want to go back to college to do a masters, would i still be entitled to get my grant for my masters, or will doing this VEC disrupt this somehow???

State grants generally aren't available for a masters. Individual colleges may give you a grant / research scholarship.

thanks for getting back to me so quickly.
hmmm i think you might be wrong there, the grant is open to any degree thats a progression, ive checked this one out already, my problem is just whether doing the vec in between will affect this

Yes you should be able to get the grant next year, if the budget does'nt change things too much.
