    It's usually called DDOS, as any Denial of Service attack is carried out by a "Distributed" network of compromised machines, aka a "botnet".

    So DOS /= DDOS.

    No need to change anything.

    Actually there're 3 different things.
    DOS is default operating system
    DoS is denial of service
    and DDoS is distributed denial of service attack (usually botnets)

    And this should be locked for spam
