I'm off to Berlin to watch the World Athletics Championships for 5 days at the end of August :) Anyone know/suggest some good running routes - preferably on grass/parkland
    cheers

Tiergarten near the Brandenburg gate is a great place to start. It's a lovely big park. Tell me where you're staying and I'll suggest stuff that might be closer but the T'garten is near public transport so worth at least one visit.

    I'm very jealous. love Berlin

cheers Hunnymonster, Tiergarden is perfect for us - we are staying just off the main drag Unter van Linden. Running the Champions 10k on the Saturday on the marathon route. thanks again

    Agreed - Berlin is great.
Check out this website, for walks/runs that will give you a nice run as well as a little tour. Tiergarten is lovely.

Alternatively, mapmyrun.com is a good place to start, or google berlin running clubs for any suggested routes.

    Enjoy......

Tiergarten is great. Has chip gates around the park and you can buy a chip and it records your training runs straight back to your computer. May not be able to do for a flying visit but what a service if you lived there!!!
