Eircom connection down

    My eircom connection is down in north Dublin, anyone else experiencing this?

    Happened to me aswell, it only came back up a minute ago.

    Big time, mate. Big time. Is that these hackers again? I heard they caused a bit of grief for Twitter.

    I lost access for about 25 minutes.

    Me too unfortunately. The connection was fine. It was the peering or some internal link on Eircom's network which was down.

    Mine was going crazy for the last 2 hours connection dropped every 5 to 10 mins and the same yesterday in cork:mad:.Have had enough with eircom time to get bt 24mb connection:D

    Mine was down for about an hour at that time. Don't think it was the DNS DOS attack as I use Open DNS and it still didn't work, neither did the eircom dns servers. However it did look like a problem with the DNS though.

    Yeh I also use Open DNS and it was down for about 45 minutes. Router did report DNS issues but switching back to failcom's didn't fix anything.
