moving to galway in september to do a masters in NUIG.Went down last week to find a place, seen a nice place in Laurel park,right up the back of the estate. it was the best we saw but have since heard horror stories about the safety of the estate and the walk back from college etc, can anyone shed some light on this for me…

I lived there for a semester and it was okay. THere was a van burned out while I was there, but that was it. I walked home from nights out most nights and only once did I get any hassle at all. There's usually loads of students living there too! I'dsay go for it
