    hi.
    im flying into cagliari in the south of sardinia in a couple of weeks for a short 5 day break. going to stay 2 nights in the city and then 3 somewhere along the coast.
    anyone with any recommendations of where to go and ehich hotels (no more than 2 hours travel and looking for something of decent value..some of the prices are crazy)

    Cagliari is a lovely city.

    I have spent many a week there working , I usually stay near Piazza Yanne ( centre of town ) .

    All the hotels I have stayed in are around 100-120 euro per night .

    There is a small beach which is a short bus ride away ( Porto or something ) which is lovely.

    I have never had a car while there so don't really know anywhere outside a small part of the city TBH

    The sea food is just wonderful.
