Online Prayer - Survey

I posted here a back in May about a website I had set up at http://www.roomtopray.net to offer a range of interactive activities for Online Prayer, orientated towards Catholics but open to those of all faiths and those of none.

The online Rosary I talked about never took off due to lack of interest but at the moment, there are Vespers (Evening Prayer) and Compline (Night Prayer) daily and Lectio Divina weekly.

I am looking at the possibility of increasing the range of activities available through the website this autumn and winter. As well as additional formats for prayer, I am considering other types of activity such as seminars, Faith Development programmes and an Online Retreat.

I’m also keen to try to expand the timetable to suit international users – at the moment, everything is geared around GMT/BST.

I have initially approached some experienced people (priests and members of religious orders) about helping on those latter activities and they are interested in getting involved but before asking them to do any work, I’d like to get a feel for what real interest is out there.

I have compiled an Online Survey to help assess this and I would be very grateful if people here would take time to complete it. The survey is totally anonymous and only takes about 5 minutes to complete. It’s available at http://onlineprayersurvey.questionpro.com/

Even if you have no particular interest in Online Prayer or will not be able to take part in it, I would ask you to still consider completing the initial part of the survey which gives you the option to state your reason(s); simply knowing that would be useful to me.

    Thank you
