Meteor broadband: 1gb of my allowance just disapeared

So I topped up my payg meteor broadband today and texted for the monthly pass. I checked my balance immediately and sure enough I had 5gb of 5gb remaining.

I used the Internet for exactly 31 minutes just checking my email and checking news sites etc..., after this I checked my remaining balance and I had 3.94gb of 5gb remaining. I have both text messages telling me my balance and they are 31 minutes apart, the fastest speed that I get out of the dongle is 200kB/s so even if I was downloading the whole time at full speed it would still be mathematically impossible for me to download a gig. It seems like 1gb has been deducted from my data balance because I would estimate my usage in that time was about 60mb.

Has this happened to anybody else before, I'm going to ring up meteor in a bit but I know that I'm going to be talking to some numpty who rattles off the "computer says no" line. Anybody got any tips on how to approach this or have any ideas on how this could have happened?

Perhaps you used more than 5GB on your previous pass, and they just deducted the over use from the next one?

Just checked my balance this morning and it's back up to 5gb, so the issue is resolved :)

they have had some issues since updating their systems last week which is probably the reason for this, i lost 25 minutes and 12 texts when my remaining minutes and text dropped to zero:( but i am hopeful they will sort everyone out soon.
