Questions about getting a Clean & Polish done

Does it make much of a difference to the whiteness of the teeth? I'm thinking of getting it done before I get braces, so my teeth don't look too dingy when I have them on.

Secondly, is it expensive? If I have a medical card, can I get done for free?

Medical card check up and polish is free. Good to have clean teeth at any time.

So where did you decide to get the braces after all? Hopefully in the same country as the tax payers that pay for your medical card.

Hi David Cuddly Soul, I decided to get the braces in Tullamore.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if I'm still entitled to use my medical card - my parent's salary conditions have changed, and I haven't updated or used the card in ages; I'll have to look into it.

Without the medical card, is the clean and polish expensive?

Check up, x-rays and a scale and polish will be somewhere between 80 -140 euro. Glad to hear you are staying local.

I figured it would be around that much.

    Cheers.
