Bike rack on a 107 - how risky

    Hi -

I was wondering if you could give me your opinion on the following.
I own a Peugeot 107. I usually bring my bike inside the car by removing the wheels. However this time there are 2 or 3 mountain bikes ( heavy ). The rack would need to be mounted on the window itself, and the attach hooks would be also hanging on to the window. The car back door ... is only a window.

What do you think. Roof rack FTW?
    thx

Towbar carrier might be the easiest option if you have one (doubtful). Failing that then a roof rack. I have a standard boot mounted one on a car about twice the size of yours. You'd notice it whilst driving with just my 8kg Bianchi. Also the mounts would not attach to your car (boot seals for glass would be obstructed).

Both options are a bit iffy on a 107. One bike is fine, three bikes is probably too much. A roof rack would probably be the best option.

Thanks - i read more about it and it is not suitable to have a rear mount. Our carbon road bikes and usually fit fine in the car itself, but the MTB's will have to stay on the roof. I am getting a roof rack from mick's garage in Park west this afternoon :)
    Thanks!
