    hi,
Been wanting to go away for a while now. (myself and girlfriend) The only days we can take off are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
There doesn't appear to be any packages that accommodate for those days.
Wanted to leave on 15th and back 18th...
Not looking at France because we are going there in October.
Barcelona flights seem to be expensive.
Was looking at river boat cruises in Ireland but think it would be best to get friend to come along on that one.
    Any suggestions anybody?

Well i could highly recommend cruising the shannon, most companies will rent boat out for 3 or 4 days. myself and the gf have done it twice although not peak season. it was a great laugh a different town each night.

yeah I heard it is great craic. who did you hire the boat from? we're close to Belturbet - but I heard there are a lot of locks to get through on this side - whereas there is more time for cruising on the shannon - maybe going to Carrick-on-Shannon and starting from there would be a better idea!

Cruising on the shannon as well as a house

    Great fun.

As there are only two of you best to ask for a deal as the houses will fit 6.

Anywho give them a call, Ive stayed there twice, excellent place, open fire place as well in each house.
