Here is a little video I put together of our season in Whistler. Nothing too crazy being thrown down, just fun times riding with friends.

Hey man,

Thanks for the feedback. Im actually a little disappointed I didnt get more footage on the bigger jumps cos I bruised both my heel bones and couldnt hit anything big for about 2 months but still got loads of fun footage of us buttering about and having a laugh!!

I liked the vid, it was good fun. You can tell you're a good boarder even if the jumps weren't that big.

Whistler looks absolutely unreal.

Thanks man. Yeah the terrain in Whistler is just incredible and I mean we didnt even get footage on any of the good powder days or on the tree runs cos we didnt want to waste time with the camera!!! Terrain-wise, its by an absolute mile the best place Ive ever been.

I went there for 3 weeks this year and also went to Japan,i spent more in Whistler,that says alot...

Yeah Whistler is very expensive and it can be very pretentious too but to be honest you can choose to live whatever type of Whistler life you want. If you are far more into riding than you are partying and you meet the right people you really can avail of the some of the best terrain in the world.

Its an absoloutely class place, but too expensive for a holiday really, esp if you are coming all the way from ireland

Hey,

Yeah its ok. Not great to be hoenst but still a lot of fun. The glacier is really in bad shape and its hard to get speed for jumps and rails as its been roasting for the last 15 days straight. We've had some really fun booster sessions on the hip though. A Spanish guy did a double backflip spin thing on it yesterday... absolutely amazing to see in real life. THe speed he launched at it was crazy.

Its raining now as I type though so it might be snowing up top!!! Or else it might just be making it worse with even more rain!

Still no new snow! Glacier is a mess but still fun. Think Ive busted my ankle again though!

Hey guys,

Just letting you know I made another little video here of a day we filmed up on the glacier.

Its all Irish riders in the video and 2 of the guys (Josh and Killian) are only 17 so Im sure you will see much more of them in the future.

Colm and Conor are the skiers. Ollie is in red hoodie and yellow pants. Killian is all in grey and Josh is in Black jacket. Im in my usual blue and green!

You'll notice the disasterous state of the glacier Im sure. It didnt snow at all during August but luckily there was loads of snowpack from June and July so it was able to stay open right to the end.

By the time we filmed (August 23rd) all the big and medium sized jumps had been taken out and there was only a few boxes and rails left so apologies all the features are pretty much the same in the video.

Yeah the glacier was in the worst state ive ever seen it this year but we were just unlucky not to get any snow at all for the last 5 or 6 weeks of the season. Usually doesnt happen like that.

The edit was a quick job but we had the footage from the day so I thought I may aswell put it together.

Its good for the young lads Josh and Killian to be in a video before they have even done their Leaving Cert.
