Mobile website - Is spam an issue?

    I am creating a mobile website and was wondering have people found spam is an issue?

    I am putting a contact us page where people can put in their email / phone to register their interest in the website. I will then get back to them at a later stage. I don't want lots of spam so should I be inserting a captcha image to avoid much of this spam?

    I may be incorrect but do a lot of mobiles not even show any image so will not be able to show the captcha image?

    Have people found spam an issue with mobile websites?
