Hey fellow travellers,
ever just wanted to go to the airport with your passport and get the first available flight anywhere for a few days? self confessed travel junkie here and wondered if there were any groups or could one be set up where you could hook up with a group to travel at the last minute. Not talking about anything wild or exotic simply a weekend in european city or even jump on the ferry on a friday and see where your nose takes you!!

Big world out there and seems that most friends usually have something planned when I decide I would like to feck off somewhere or maybe none of my friends are spontaneaous enough!

just wondered if there were any like minded people out there...
aware of singles travel sites and this doesnt interest me , thanks in advance.

That sounds like a cool idea alright in theroy but wouldnt that mean the tickets would be pricey enough since you are buying them so late?
Not meaning to be non spontaneous but I am just trying to figure it out in my mind cos I would love to do something like that too.
I was often thinking of soemthing like picking a rondom destination off the Ryanair website with eyes closed and heading there...but that has its own risks!

hey boarddotie,
you right about prices but you can be very lucky if you not choosey about your destination, was browsing last week and you could have gone to venice for 159 return, 2 star hotel for 39 per night, like the ryan air idea!
