Looking for a handball alley in south dublin

    Hi guys

    I got quick taste of playing handball again this week and am aching to get going again, especially now my masters is nearly over. Problem is I now live in south dublin (near Dundrum) and cant find anywhere on the net.

    If anyone knows of an begineers league in south dublin, since im not really sure of all the rules and would like to get going, could you let me know!

    There's an alley in UCD, which is available for people to use.;)

    Another one in the secondary school Coláiste Eoin on the Stillorgan Dual Carraigeway. It's an open alley, which you could use at weekends, Summer etc... anytime school isn't on.

    Colaiste Eoin school just after the bridge at the Radison hotel on the Stillorgan Dual carriageway if you need to locate it.

    the alley in UCD - i was under the impression that it was just for students, but it seems that there is a club that operates from there and croke park? but i cant find any contact info?

    i didnt know about the alley in colaiste Eoin, ill check it out. Cheers

    There a 40x20 alley in the community sports centre in Ballyfermot and an outdoor 60x30 at the Guinness sportsgound on the Crumlin Road in Drimnagh.

    However, your best bet is to contact someone from the handball office on Jones Road and ask for a contact in Portabello Handball club, we are always looking for new members!!!!

    Im part of the UCD handball club. The alley is available to anybody outside of our training hours. Its €6.50 for 45 minutes play if you are not a student. Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-10.15 are training times during the semester starting 7th of september, all other times are open to the public. PM if you require anymore information.
