Hey, my sister wanted to go to WIT for design and visual communications course. She just sat the LC this year but didn't do any higher level subjects in her leaving cert. An entry requirment is 2 HC3 leaving cert subjects. Does anyone know if she does a PLC course for the year will she be able to use this to get in to the course(or any course)? If so, how hard would it be to get a place through this route?

    Thanks in advance.

Sometimes the college itself has fetac(plc) links direct to courses.Contact WIT directly for this. The max your sister can get is 400 LC points from the plc course.Thats all distinctions(Distinctions=50,Merit=35,Pass=20).If she works hard she can do well in the plc course.Hope this helps.
