    Hi All,

My mate has this book and wondered if it was saleable. It weighs more than any book I have picked up and is beautifully presented. Any clues as to where I would start looking to see what it is worth and where to sell it? Is this an eBay job?

    Google brings up nothing really.

How much do you want for it?

I have no idea what it is worth, or what he will take for it. I guess that is why I was posting the info here. I can ask him but i'm sure he will want to know what the going rate is first. How would I find this out?

These were solely distributed to RREC members.
So there was probably around 8000 printed.

Maybe Ebay would be your best option.

Thanks for that Kevin. Helps to understand what the book is all about. I may try it on eBay then.

I'll buy it as long as your not looking for telephone numbers for it.

Well that's the thing. Neither of us has any idea what it is worth, or what to ask for it. It is a weird book in that it appears almost nowhere when you look for it online. I found one at a snooty auction house in London and thats about it.

I may put it up on eBay and see how bidding goes. If I do, I will post a link here.

It's late and I'm getting tired after the long day I've had. That said, (and my weakoned state excused, so I might be very wrong and apologies up front but) I get a sense of deja-vu on this. Did you post this or something like this before, OP?

    Hi Unkel,

I can honestly say I haven't ever posted anything like this before. I did ask for engine parts for a 190x car once for the same buddy and I have been looking for a car for my Dad for ages but he finally bought one recently.

I have never sold anything even remotely like this before though. I definitely would remember:) I don't mean to annoy anyone here either. I just find Boards to be a great place to find info on things as everyone is very helpful.

I've got three Rollers, am interested in the book, if you don't come up with a price i'll get one in Beaulieu anyway for £30-£40.

Probably best that you do. I can't imagine the cost and hassle of postage. One of the reasons I hesitate to put it on eBay. I haven't weighted it and am no good at estimating but it is difficult to pick up on its edge with one hand.

There have been a few sold second hand over the past few months and I'm told around €50 is the price.

If it's ok with mods here, I will put it up for sale to the person who pays €100 or closest to it. Preferably it would be collected or I could meet the buyer somewhere with it.

I will be away on holiday mid next week so if this isn't sorted by then, it will have to wait for a few weeks.

That's just fine. Anyone interested either post here or PM iwb.

iwb - will you let us know here if / when it is sold?

I put this book on ignore when going on holiday but that was waaaaay long ago now. I believe Beaulieu was last week, so anyone who didn't buy one there want this book? Offers? I just want it out of my house and the owner trusts that I will get what it is worth for it.
