folks i have myself a pair of SHB9000 Philips Bluetooth headphones, I really like em, great sound and I use em with my mobile on planes regularly, thought has occured to me to use em with the new TV/impending amp, handy for when I want to turn it up and she wants to hit the sack!

So can ye advise is this something the richer/philips folks can offer or am I off to ebay? :D

    Cheers

    Hi Hick

    Good question.
Certainly the Philips TV doesnt have BlueTooth compatibility - but it's headphone socket can be adjusted independantly of the TV's speaker volume which is cool if you have a l-o-n-g headphone cable (or RF headphones)

I must admit I havent heard of any form of BlueTooth adapter that will allow you to plug it into the heaphone input of a device and beam the music to suitable headphones...It's a good idea though!

I've had a (less than indepth) look about the net and have turned up plenty of BlueTooth dongles for PC's but nowt for TV's.
    Nothing in Maplins either

I guess thats what lunch hours are for at work eh? "online research"

Not much help there i'm afraid
    cheers

    Thanks Ash

    I did find this https://www.expansys.ie/d.aspx?i=148601
but from what I gather while this and others are ok for music there is a lag so d'aul video will be a bit annoying and might be akin to watching a britney spears concert, very pretty to look at but crap beacuse of what looks like miming (oh and the crazy!)

I have a pair of RF Sony headphones but there's always that bit of background hiss.

looks like it's 15ft cable instead! thanks again
