    Hi,

I'm wondering has anybody had a similar experience. I have recently noticed a high pitched noise in the upstairs box room which seems to be coming from the alarm box which is placed externally on the outside wall of that room. I have unplugged all other devices in the room and even turned off the power at the mains and still the noise persists. it cannot be heard anywhere else in the house or even outside on the garden etc.
im wondering could it be a battery has gone dead in the alarm box and this high pitched noise is the result? any help or advice would be appreciated, its doing my head in! the alarm system is secureatch hkc if that helps

    cheers

    Hi kingmuller..
The battery in the external bell would not cause this.. From the sound of it the external bell you have is gone faulty. How old is the panel ?
