It sounds from the synopsis on IMDB that the sequel picks up almost straight away from [Rec]:

The action continues from [Rec], with the medical officer and a SWAT team outfitted with video cameras are sent into the sealed off apartment to control the situation.

It really seems like they're trying to set it up to release a corresponding videogame or something, the entire time I was watching these teasers I kept wanting to play Left4Dead. :pac:

Looks like watching someone play an FPS..

Apparently Rec 2 is to Rec 1 what Aliens is to Alien ie balls out action compared to the slow burn.It does sound promising.

I enjoyed the first REC, even if it was a cross-between the movies Blair Witch Project and 28 Days Later.

I'll be interested in watching this one too. It looks like fun from the trailer.

Yay!! Didn't even know they were doing another, really looking forward to this esp as it's continuing on from the first, very scary! Love it!
