Anyone has one to recommend to properly and securely transport an engine, big engine (V8+)

Also any tips to secure the engine on the trailer is welcome.

    Cheers

So you recon a van would be more appropriate than a trailer?

I was planning to get the current engine swapped from a donor car and come back home with the new one fitted and the broken one on a trailer.

Either way with a pallet you will need forks each end unless you have a heavy duty engine crane and reverse a van /trailer towards the hoisted engine.

its a matter of opinion i think you would have a lot more safety issues with a trailer

Oki, I should get the engine delivered instead, investing in a proper trailer to transport the engine will probably cost me more...

    Thanks guys

Just hire a heavy duty engine crane / chain block and trailer. Most good hire shops should have such.
