    Hi,

Just giving you a heads up. Was looking to get vitamins and joint care supplements. Found a website called PharmacyFix. Ordered on a Friday and they arrived the following Friday.
Considering the cost here, a huge bargain is to be got online. Ordered Wellman and wellwoman Vitamins and Health perception Glucosamine.
There is at least a 3 fold in the difference between here and online.

Give them a look, Phoned in my order and the manner of the sales person was brilliant, very helpful and co-operative.

    Bull76.

    For comparison check out http://www.zipvit.co.uk
    I've used them for years.

Expect to see a huge increase in the use of online pharmacies when people realize they can buy longterm prescribed drugs online for less than the refund thresholds under the State refund scheme.

I suspect that pharmacists are shooting themselves in the foot, longterm, with their current dispute. Most of their customers are in the agegroup that doesn't shop online. That will change soon.

It's illegal to get POM medications outside of a registered pharmacist in Ireland. Vitamins should be grand but I'd say antibiotics etc. would be a bad idea to get over a website. I assume the mods can clarify all this.

Illegal - maybe, maybe not - this will be clarified definitively when people vote en masse with their feet/credit cards, and it will happen, despite vested interests. People are doing it right now. Don't assume the mods are experts on international pharmaceutical law, despite whatever other credentials they may hold.

There's no maybe about it. It is illegal here to order from online pharmacies, no clarification needed. Even for those willing to take the risk, one also has to consider the chance that the medicine they get in the post may not contain any active/may contain a different active. No comeback on counterfeit medications bought online.

I presume you mean for prescribed drugs. I am not sure if it is illegal to order prescribed drugs, they might be confiscated but I don't think that necessarily makes ordering them an illegal act.

The site in my sig does vitamins, minerals etc cheap in bulk, some are just powders so can be very cheap, post is only £6.95 for up to 26kg too.
