can projectmix control plugins?

Hi guys. Have an m audio projectmix. At the moment i am only using it as a soundcard/ motorized mixer for my daw. Would like to use it to its full potential but dont know how. Am using logic and have a midi keyboard controlling a couple of plugins. Not sure if it can be done but would love if my projectmix could control…
