i took MAP the day after burst condom scenario. my period had been due that day. the irony is that i had the Pill at the ready to start on first day of my period but the this happened that nite.
GP told me that the MAP can either bring forward or delay period. i'm now 5 days late. am iffy about a test yet as hear that it may not be relliable this soon.
has anyone experience of their period being delayed after MAP and if so, for how long. GP couldn't say.
am planning to give another day/2 and see...
    help!

ok it's me again. for what it's worth to anyone who night find themselves in same predicament, i got my period on day 6. for somebody who is pretty bang on, this was a v stressful waiting game but i clung onto the GP saying morning after pill can delay it. obviously, the MAP did delay it. big phew, needless to say and once period started, got straight onto the Pill.

I'd imagine the chances of falling pregnant if you took the morning after pill are extremely, extremely slim.

In your case I'd imagine there was no need to feel the stress which you did.

The chances of falling pregnant the day before your period was due were also very low.

It's better for peace of mind to use two forms of protection I find.
