Upgrading car advice

Hi all, Looking for some advice. Want to get rid of our two motors, 99 Primera estate and 02 Fiesta Ghia and get a mini-MPV, like a 7 seater C4 picasso. Would it be best to sell both privately or do you think I could get a decent trade-in deal for one or both off a dealer? Any advice much appreciated! Thanks
