    Has anybody tried these red and black TP taylormade balls?:)

    I'm getting some feedback that the black has more distance and the red can spin more!!!:rolleyes:

    Bought a dozen of the red last year, very good ball but cut up very easily. Not as good as Pro V1 IMO

    The Taylormade Tour LDP version is supposed to be a vast improvement on the older Taylormade ball. If you haven't parted with your money, take a look them.

    well yes, thats the point of them

    Exact same with ProVs just other way around
    Red=distance
    Black=spin

    Just found this discussion about the new TP balls.....

    http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=166121

    The reviews of them are very positive. I must see if I can pick a few of them up.

    That is what i'm trying out which balls suit my game best.
    I'm not the kind to spin balls really and like to get a bit of distance of the tee.

    The reviews from golfwrx are interesting!!

    I bought 12 of these on Saturday and used one on Sunday. Very impressive. Felt like a Pro-V with similar spin and feel with the putter, but much more durable. I semi-bladed a pitching wedge on the 2nd and there wasn't a mark on the ball. Definitely my new favourite.

    Might give them a try. I use Prov1 X so I should try the Black TM?

    Red is the harder ball similar to the prov1x

    The TodaysGolfer Mag published a golf ball test they ran last March, I have attached a link and makes for interesting reading:

    Very interesting. The Nike ball being the longest by a fair margin. Anybody use them?
