I was just wondering how I would go about getting from Madrid to Valencia, I cant seem to find anything on the net.

I want to travel either by Bus or Train but don't have a clue where I would go for info on this....

Any help would be great thanks!

There are 13 trains per day from Madrid to Valencia. I discovered this secret by typing "trains spain" into google and clicking on the first result.

renfe.es is the site for the national Spanish train service. AVE is the high speed train and Talgo is a slower train.

There is a bus station near Atocha (I think, or that's the train station). http://www.estacionautobusesmadrid.com/frameset.html http://www.avanzabus.com/web/

you could also fly from Madrid to Valencia using Iberia (Spanish airline), although that would probably be expensive.

there is a bus approximately every hour, price is around 24eur off the top of my head, it stops for half an hour at a motorway service station in cuenca province, total journey about 4 hours, buses are fairly comfortable.

trains are less frequent, faster (except for the slow ones, ahem) and more expensive.

check ryanair.com because there are some great bargains to be had on this route (1 or 5 eur all in), both airports have a direct metro link to city centre.

Plenty of cheap flights listed at Skyscanner, the excellent flight price comparison site
