Candle engraving (weddings etc.....)??

Ok this might turn out to be a bit of a ramble but stay with me!!
I occasionally do a bit of wedding/christening candle engraving for people (based in LImerick/Munster region) and was just wondering has anybody any experience in this....just for a bit of advice and feedback.

Basically, in these uncertain times, I've decided to take it a bit more seriously and try and make it a more prosperous form of income for me....I have a background in art so I got thinking why not make the most of my talents! :)

Thing is I engrave the candles in a very basic way, just with a pentip (with paper between the pen and candle surface to protect it) and then just fill with a paintbrush....is there a more easier way to do it as this can be a bit of a strain at time....are there any candle engraving kits out there as I have had a look around online and no luck thus far....

Was also wondering in these harsh times will people have the money to spare to pay for candles (not that I'd charge too much) should I decide to advertise, get a website set up, buy supplies etc??

Just a few thoughts, would be great if anyone had any advice or comments.
    Thanks in advance.
