thinking of buying items in bulk.

    hi, i am concidering buying stock in bulk and reselling them on ebay and various other internet sites. to make any profit atal i presume i'd have to buy from china and the u.s. has anyone any experience in this and how can i maximise my profits. first items i am concidering would be dvd players or clothing maybe. with all the shipping involved is there any way to make any bit of money here??..thanks for your time.

    Hi plego - my advice is to find a product for which you believe there to be a market, if there is not a market for the product or it is already very well served, the cost of purchase and shipping becomes a secondary concern.

    Shipping items in from the USA is expensive you would want to do your research and see about customs tax and VAT, you would get cheaper products going through China.

    ok. thanks for the replys. seems to be hard enough to make any bit of profit after the shipping.

    From America yes, but bear in mind the weight of the items you are talking about. Electronics are heavy and shipping would cost more. Check out alibab.com for goods from China, buying in bluk from there is very cheap once you find something you think you can sell here for a profit.
