Right Ive made a decision to buy new wheels, Ive a fairly decent road bike, BH Global Concept tema replica, cost about 900 last year, anyhow Im gonna get some nice wheels with the intention of using them on my BH till the end of the summer, and putting them on a tt bike for races next season(ill be buying the tt bike after christmas) can anyone advise on the best value, type of wheels to get, budget is about a grand

That is a nice bike but can I ask what wheels are already fitted?

If your desperate for the change why not try 'Dura Ace CL 7850' roughly about Eur550-600 for the pair depending on where you shop. have to admit though I've seen similiar wheels for far far less money on various rides so before parting with the cash why not check out the competition on your next spin.

You may even find a bargain on adverts.ie but beware as its buyer beware!

If you are considering buying a pair of wheels to be used on a tt bike why not try a set of carbon deep section wheels

Yes, generally they will give more benefit than lighter, most Irish courses are relatively flat.

I'd also consider a power meter, a training plan and a coach though, I reckon I will go for the power meter before I get aero wheels.
