American Football back on August 9th for preseason and gets underway for real in Pittsburgh on September 9th. Any good judges posting on this thread?

Ill start with 2 myself, although they are preseason so dont go too mad, even though they should win.

Anyone punting them in shops get on before closing time on Thursday August 13th, first selection is 1am on Friday. (8pm est)

Pittsburgh -3 @10/11 v Arizona in a repeat of the last Superbowl.

Second is Indianapolis v Minnesota on at 12.30am Saturday. (7.30 est
    ) they range between -1.5 and -2.5 also 10/11.

Both are at home and have everything going for them.

The double is over 5/2, build a tank for the real thing, sit back and relax, lots of good things in the coming months, just need the first few to win then no need to punt every game, just 2 or 3 a week.

What do you think on the Houston Texans winning the AFC South? I think they are a lock for the playoffs this season.

Look at Sports Forums under American Football Whos Your Team, They get a favourable mention, suggest a double with Atlanta in the NFC South! It is too early to say but they looked very good late last season and are have a favourable schedule, looks a good call Flanno.

NFL preseason you haven't a clue who is going to play.

You want to be mad to bet on these games IMO

NFL is something I'm going to look into this year. I like the way there are no draws (same as Tennis) plus I've gotten caught up in the pre season hoo-haw over here in Chicago. Gotta get my Cutler 6 t-shirt before I head home :pac:

I wouldn't touch a pre-season game with a barge poll. Detriot lions went 4-0 in pre-season last year beting the giants in the first game.

Be careful when betting on Indy in pre-season. Even when they were winning every Regular Season game in their heyday, they still lost their preseason games.

    Recent Preseaon Record:
    0-5 in 2005
    1-3 in 2006
    1-3 in 2007
    1-4 in 2008

For the love of God, don't give the bookies any money on Pre-season games. It's hard enough to get the spreads right during regular season, but pre-season is a complete lottery.

I have decided, given the general consensus that preseason punting is suicidal to go it alone regardless.

If I come out the other side, fair play, if not here are my week 1 picks in advance.

Atlanta Houston Cleveland @ around 7/2.

for now only betfred are pricing it up.
