Ireland Hotel Recommendation? - need a huge bed and a great bath/shower

We are planning a weekend break and are looking for a great hotel.

In Los Angeles and New York, we have found hotels with emperor-sized beds (about twelve inches wider than a king) and very large walk-in showers with three (wink, nudge) shower heads.

We're having trouble finding anything like this in Ireland. Has anyone been to a hotel where you just didn't even bother leaving the room the whole weekend?

A jacuzzi tub that fits more than two people would also be great....

the g hotel in Galway is pretty amazing - large walk in shower and separate bath

I'd second the G hotel. Beds are super comfortable. In the suites, there are walk in double showers and free standing baths. We've stayed there a couple of times and I would quite happily stay in the rooms all day!

Just looked up the G Hotel website, and it does look perfect -
    Thank you both!

Strange as I was going to recommend Galway as well but not the G.

Try the Executve Suite in the Radisson. The bed is mahooosive, the rooms is massive but the shower is simply a stand in glass shower. You get a nice view of Lough Atalia as well.

The Junior Suites in the royal marine dun Loaghaire have huge beds and huge baths, I think they even have a TV over the bath as well.

Has anyone stayed in a standard double room in the Royal Marine in Dun Laoghaire? Just wondering what the bathrooms are like - is there a bath or a shower?

The standard rooms in the new wing are normal hotel rooms with a shower over a bath I believe.

Level 5 in the Radisson in Galway.
So exclusive you get a special pass so the lift will take you there. Other residents can't get up there.
In fact, most of the staff can't get to that floor

You have a porter there exclusively for that floor 24/7
And the rooms are unbelievable! Know this from working there. Shower are nothing special though
Give them a call and haggle hard for a deal!
