Hope someone has encountered this problem before. A mate of mine was messing about on my PC and since then, when I type in e.g. "youtube" into the address bar it brings me to a yahoo search page rather than directly to youtube.com page as it did before. It's driving me nuts as I'm so used to not needing to type in .com or .ie etc.
I've checked the add-ons and there dosen't seem to be a yahoo one there and I've re-installed firefox 3.0 but no joy.
    any help appreciated...

Check your search engine up the top right of Firefox and see if it's set to Yahoo.

Normally this happens when a program is installed and it changes this. A simple problem to fix!!
