    Hey,

just want some help please with entitlements,
I have veen living at home since my little one was born 5 years ago claiming lone parents.
My boyfriend was working and lost his job earlier this year. He is claiming the dole however can no longer afford to live alone. So we are thinking about moving in together and becoming a family.
My boyfriend is not my little ones dad and I wonder if anyone can tell me what we would be entitled too?
I will give up my lone parents and hope to add myself and my little one on to his dole claim.
Would we be entitled to help with rent also?

thinking about visiting citizens info for help also.

Citizen's information would definitely be the best place for you to go.

If you're working at all, you and your boyfriend will not be entitled to rent supplement. If you're not working, you may be entitled to it as long as the rent is below the threshold for your area.
