Since the last update (3 days ago) the most of my programs start as new again. I have to fill in all the details. It will last about half an hour and then the circus is going to start again.
    Can someone help me?
    Many thanks,

    Alfons:o

Is this for activation on programs or passwords, etc thru websites?

Have you got up-to-date AV and anti-spyware programs and have you run full scans with both? if so, did they report anything?

Thanks for responding. No, it is with all my programs when I start them up. They will last for about half an hour and then it looks like they start up again, and I have to fill in alle the details.
I ran Norman AV, it is very up to date, it didnot give any messages.

The only thing I can think of is that the programs are losing their profile settings somehow, but each program would be different in how they do this, some use ini/txt files in their folders, others use registry settings to store basic profiles. Could you give some examples of the programs affected? Also try running hijackthis and posting the results of its system scan here, it might give people here some idea of what could be wrong
