quick story , baught mazuno blades earlier in the year ,played with them for 2 months and had no joy ,lots of people telling me i was mad to use them go back to cavity backs .i went back to my old clubs and could hit them no better than the blades:( my whole game went to bits . now i took the blades out yesterday and today and told my self i can hit these things . and lo and behold i hit some of the best golf shots i have evre hit ,had the confidence to go at flags instead of just for the green . i realy believe i let other people telling me i had no business playing blades ruin me for a while. i believe its not allways about whats in your hands but more whats in your head . who else plays with blades and what sort of handicaps have ya got ?

I'm playing Titleist 690mb blades, my handicap is 10 but i still find i can hit the club way better than i ever hit any cavity backs. I only took them out when i forgot my locker key on evening and just used my brothers irons instead, i was thinking there wouldn't be a hope of me hitting them at all but i played some of the best golf i have ever played, bought the clubs of him a week later, he bought the newer version of the Titlest blades, are they 695mb's or something like that.

i find you can really take aim with them , ball flight is lower ,stop very fast on the green , and the feeling of a pure strike is un beatable my handicap is 10 also, have gone the wrong way lately but fully believe i can reverse that trend fairly fast . my blades are mazuno mp32s

I also use the Titliest 690mb blades, my handicap is 12.
I find that when you are striking the ball well you can hit all kinds of geat shots with them, but you do lose quite a bit of distance if you dont stike it off the centre of the club.
So it can be hard to judge what club to use at times.

Used Titleist blades for about 5 years, handicap varied between 2-4, mostly off 3. Really liked them but when I wasn't playing as much I was suffering with the long irons (the 2 iron was literally just bigger than the ball). Thought it was time for a change and bought a combo set last year, Titleist ZB forged and I really like them, they play like blades through most of the set and look like them to look down on (thin topline), but the long irons are a little more forgiving.
